What this program is
Foundations is where it starts. Not just for kids — for anyone who never learned properly, who was thrown into the deep end and figured it out badly, or who simply grew up afraid of the water.
This is an 8-week program built around one principle: confidence comes before speed. We don't rush strokes. We don't skip steps. We build from the water up.

What we cover
Every session is structured around a specific skill — nothing is left to chance.
Weeks 1–2: Water confidence
Floating on front and back
Breath control and bubble blowing
Submerging without panic
Moving through water without gripping the wall
Weeks 3–4: First strokes
Freestyle arm motion broken into stages
Kick timing and body position
Bilateral breathing introduction
Short-distance attempts with rest
Weeks 5–6: Putting it together
Full freestyle across the width of the pool
Backstroke introduction
Turns at the wall
Building distance gradually
Weeks 7–8: Building independence
Swimming one full length unassisted
Basic water safety awareness
Introduction to open water differences (for older swimmers)
Confidence assessment and next steps
